ROOTS (Rising Out Of The Shadows) Young Adult Shelter (RYAS) is a University District for homeless youth aged 18 to 25. It is housed in the basement of the University Temple United Methodist Church. This is an overnight program that provides shelter, dinner, breakfast, hygiene services, case management and referral services.
Current Volunteering:
There will be an acupuncturist doing 15 minute treatments Thursdays from 9:00pm-10:00pm.
Volunteer Needs:
We are currently looking for acupuncturists to do 15 minute auricular acupuncture treatments and massage therapists to do seated treatments on weekday nights from 9:00-10:15pm.
