After our Volunteer Coordinator has received your application you will be contacted to set up trainings. The first training, facilitated by our Volunteer Coordinator, will give you more information about AHAC as an organization, our policies, and prodcedures. If you are volunteering in direct service at one of our sites you will need to setup a second training. The second training, faciliated by our Site Coordinator, will orient you to the site you will working at, you will be familiarized with the building, where supplies are kept, how to setup clinic and what is expected of you before, during, and after clinic.
In the near future AHAC will begin offering regular in depth trainings on the topics of Social Justice Basics, An Introduction to Anti-Oppression Work, Understanding Homelessness and Common Conditions Presented and their Treatment at Free Clinics
